Black Women Challenge Politicians and Hollywood: We are “Soul Sisters” – Let’s Talk

In response to mounting abortion mania from Black politicians and Hollywood Celebrities, Black activists are crying out. The current opposition to the “Heartbeat Bill” that will save the lives of countless babies and their mothers is unconscionable, taking on nightmare proportions of illogical justification. Consequently, Black Prolife activists urge opponents across the spectrum of Hollywood, politics and every walk of life to “meet in the public square” for a “come to Jesus” encounter. We should not be enemies. We have a common cause, to live, to grow and prosper. There has to be a better way to escape racism, abuse and poverty than killing our own; and not just by gun violence and Black on Black crime. Abortion is the number one culprit; killing millions of us as our women and children are being led to the slaughter.

The women are part of a larger group of African American leaders, the National Black Prolife Coalition, who see abortion as a cruel detriment to the growth of their communities.

“This Holy Week is the perfect time to pray for mothers and their unborn children. Thank God that Mary did not abort Jesus; even though her pregnancy was inconvenient in the eyes of many. Here in the 21st century, the infanticide and risks to a mother’s health are warning signals that abortion is never a healthy option for women. Black women suffer the highest risk of loss by abortion. How can the dream survive if we murder the children,” said Evangelist Alveda King.

“Gabrielle Union, Tracee Elliss Ross and Uzo Aduba are Planned Parenthood’s Ministers of Propaganda paid to ensure Georgia’s Black abortion rate remains at 62% or higher. Their absence from this state is welcomed since their presence and propaganda aids Planned Parenthood’s Negro Project’s genocide,” said Catherine Davis.

“So many children are denied their most basic human right – the right to life, with black babies topping the abortion list. Their civil rights trampled, their precious little bodies discarded like dung. What about the dream Dr. King so courageously worked for, marched for and ultimately died for? Sadly, when he died much of the ‘dream’ died with him but that’s not okay. We must revitalize the dream — for the very lives of all God’s children,” added Day Gardner.

“For decades, Planned Parenthood’s slick advertising has promoted the genocide against communities of color. They target our children for death, and use Gabrielle Union, Tracee Elliss Ross And Uzo Aduba to convince women to hate their children and kill them.” Denise Walker continued, “These women are not leaders – they are executioners. Shame on them for hating Black, Latina and Asian children!”

“So you legalized infanticide and then you legalized marijuana to drug us so we’ll forget about killing our babies. #GodisLife,” added Angela King.

“The black African seed that survived the slave trade, the trans-Atlantic passage and 400 years of slavery, lynching, and Jim Crow has been surrendered to the abortionist. The black vote, hard won to alleviate suffering, has become an instrument of death for children worldwide as we elect politicians lacking knowledge and basic respect for human life. Under the leadership of Democratic President Bill Clinton these same politicians showed similar disrespect for the liberty of young blacks as they voted to enact federal and state crime laws, Georgia SB440 and SB441, supporting mass incarceration that promised to keep blacks locked up beyond the age of reproduction, supporting the racist eugenicist ‘plan for peaceful genocide.’ Jesus Christ substitutes Himself for the ‘least of these,’ none less than the unborn or the prisoner, to insure ‘justice for all!’ Black lives matter, but ‘the souls of black folks’ matter more! Let’s come together with the God’s People’s Agenda and ponder the question: What constitutes human suffering and how can it be alleviated?” said Dr. Loretto Grier Cudjoe.

“As a child conceived in rape, it bothers me that it’s acceptable to sacrifice children like me for the sins of their fathers. Abortion is the #1 cause of death in the Black Community. For these misguided Black American female entertainers to promote the destruction of their own race is unconscionable,” concluded Lori Hoye.

“I had been like a gentle lamb led to the slaughter; I did not realize that they had plotted against me, saying, ‘Let us destroy the tree and its fruit; let us cut [them] off from the land of the living, that their names be remembered no more.’” Jeremiah 11:19

Tide Turns in Crosshairs of Kavanaugh, Media and Roe V Wade Movie

Friday, July 13th, 2018

Kudos to Jason L. Riley, a member of the editorial board of the Wall Street Journal, for his tide turning telling of the truth about the way abortion is decimating the black community, and for pointing out the hypocrisy of those who will not admit that black unborn lives matter too. Our film Roe V. Wade, of which I’m an Executive Producer, also highlights the truth about the hypocrisy behind the shroud that has hidden the misleading circumstances that have kept women and babies in bondage to the horrors of abortion for far too long.

Talk about perfect timing. America is in the crosshairs of a perfect opportunity to correct a grievous injustice. President Trump’s Supreme Court nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh, our film, and the crack in the silence about the truth about abortion from the media can’t all be coincidence.

Roe V Wade which is currently in production reveals how a poor, uneducated woman was used as a pawn by abortion advocates determined to have the procedure legalized throughout the nation. At Civil Rights for the Unborn, which I direct for Priests for Life, we work very hard to educate communities around America and across the globe about the genocide of African-Americans led by the abortion cartel and Planned Parenthood.

Planned Parenthood was founded by a racist who wanted to wipe out blacks, and 100 years later, Margaret Sanger’s legacy continues. Abortion not only kills our children; too often, their mothers are dying as well. Many of the women who have died after botched abortions in recent years have been women of color: Cree Erwin; Tonya Reaves; Diamond Renee Williams; Jamie Lee Morales; Lakisha Wilson, and Maria Santiago, just to name a few. Did their lives matter?

I’m post-abortive myself and I can tell you, there is nothing about abortion that resembles health care. Planned Parenthood told me the abortion would hurt about as much as having a tooth pulled, which was untrue. What they didn’t tell me was that the pain would last forever.

Our nation needs to face the truth about abortion. We need more people in mainstream media to tell the truth as Mr. Riley did. We need a breath of fresh air in our Supreme Court. We need to bring the Roe V Wade film to the screen. We ask for your prayers and support as we work to complete this important and honest film.

Evangelist Alveda C. King: More Surprises Ahead in the Race (No Pun Intended) of the Century

180124 blog image

As we celebrate many landmark victories at the beginning of the 2018 new year, including the new MLK National Historic Park and other historical revelations, we may also be gearing up for the race of the century; President Trump and Oprah. At any rate for now, let us thank God for the opportunities before us. We can be great again.

We are approaching “Black History Month.” Let’s prepare to maximize opportunities for unity and reconciliation as we acknowledge the biblical and scientific evidence that we are not separate races, but are rather One Blood/One human race. This post from my cousin Isaac Newton Farris, Jr. makes some good points.

And who doesn’t love Oprah? Hollywood’s favorite Diva is once again making a splash with words for the curious about who shall see God. According to Miss Winfrey, everyone will see God; with the caveat that Christianity holds no dibs on the opportunity.

Actually, as is often the case with various viewpoints, there is some truth in the diatribe associated with religious debates. With the exception of atheists, most people believe in a “higher power” that we stand to meet one day. I don’t know about you, but I’d like to have the Great Judge as ABBA Father, my “heavenly father” when I stand before the Judgment Seat. We can only experience such a blessing by receiving Jesus as our Lord and Savior before we take our last breaths.

“Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” John 14:6

The thing is, while God is the ultimate judge, there is a unique and special opportunity through Christianity to have God not only as our final judge. Yet some choose to avoid the nuances that this opportunity offers.

In closing, let me remind you to please remember to check out our Roe v. Wade movie and my new book, KING TRUTHS.

We are in a crosshairs, with much to lose and more to gain. Remember America in prayer, and let’s thank God for President Trump’s fulfillment of many of his campaign promises. Also, continue in faith and love, praying for all of humanity, for the end of government funded abortions, and for positive solutions in our governmental affairs!

Evangelist Alveda King: “Roe Dies; First Lady Prays; Evangelist Dreams”

Monday, February 20th, 2017

170220 blog image

“What a difference a day makes.” On Saturday, February 18, my friend and sister Norma [Roe No More] McCorvey passed away. Norma was a valiant voice for justice in the anti-abortion war. We met on the battlefield years ago. I will miss her. Pray for her family and loved ones. Read a statement from her family HERE.

Just hours before news of Norma’s departure was announced, I woke up to face the day with a strange feeling that the world was shifting again. I couldn’t quite connect the awareness with current events; yet I knew in my heart there was a shift.

Moments earlier, as I was waking up from a dream, I heard these words: “Your daddy’s a grouch.” Just before opening my eyes, I either thought or replied: “Nope. My Daddy’s a King!” Then I woke up to face the day.

As I lay dreaming, I had no way of knowing that as the day progressed I would hear the news of Norma’s poignant death or receive a text pointing to First Lady Melania Trump’s tender rendition of “The Lord’s Prayer” at a rally for her husband President Donald Trump at his U.S. Tour rally in Florida that same day.

Now regarding the dream; before you assume I was speaking of my biological dad Rev. A. D. King, the brother of my famous uncle Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., please realize that I was speaking of and still am praising my “Heavenly Father,” the Holy One and Only Lord God Almighty; the Creator and Father of my Lord Jesus Christ and author of The Holy Spirit; the Loving Father of John 3:16. Oh, if we could only pray harder to model our kinship with our loving Heavenly Father.

My dream was an affirmation and confirmation of what I’d been reminding myself of all week; the sovereignty of God. However, sometimes grumpy, self righteous and merciless judgment creeps into the hearts of God’s children. When this happens, since we say we are like our Father, it’s easy for others to think our Father is a grouch when we act this way.

I’m sharing these recent experiences with you because you just may be one who has been impacted by current events the way I’ve been lately.

For some reason midweek last week I turned on the television set to national news before I read my Bible verses for the day. For the record, I try not to do this because I’m old enough to realize that I need daily heavenly fortification to help me face the problems of the world. But that morning, I overrode my training and daily regimen:

“Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.” – Matthew 6:34 MSG

For those moments while standing before the television as I flipped back and forth among the programming, President Trump was being hammered by hostile media and he was defending himself. As he described how he was still draining the swamp while bringing new jobs back into America, I began to cheer him on; hoping that he would also speak of his reversing tax payers’ funding to abortion providers outside of America as well as the appointments of Dr. Ben Carson to HUD and a prolife Supreme Court Justice.

In the midst of all of this, I was in danger of putting my confidence in President Trump rather than God. Realizing that I was slipping towards emotional reactions, I came to my senses, turned off the television and began to pray:

“The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know. Pray especially for rulers and their governments to rule well so we can be quietly about our business of living simply, in humble contemplation. This is the way our Savior God wants us to live.” – 1 Timothy 2:1-3 MSG

Thursday had been a media day for me, filled with interview responses to my blogs and media appearances regarding race baiting, Bible baiting and sexism; and not enough time praying and meditating in the presence of God.

All of the hoopla over my recent interviews had begun to subside as I released a blog that said that race baiting, Bible baiting and sexism across the aisles must cease.

On Thursday I texted some fellow prayer warriors who were at various strategic prayer conferences around the country: “VERY intense warfare. Heart was getting heavy. On a call right now about exposing spiritual darkness and averting disaster.”

They responded with great insight and encouragement.

The next morning, Friday; soon after turning away from the TV screen, I joined a conference call where a report of a “Trump Resistance Movement” was discussed. We wondered if the “Resistance” really understands that their movement is fueled and funded by those who support abortion, anarchy and the like? Do they seriously want to resist restoring jobs from overseas, restoration of our inner cities, putting Americans back to work? Are they seriously resisting ending racism, reproductive genocide, sexual perversion, and global terror?

On that phone conference call I shared a word from our “prayer warriors” camp:

“Praying to circumvent the demonic structures and infrastructures and traps. Guidance by Holy Spirit. Political correctness is serious witchcraft (mind control). Don’t ask God to show up. He is waiting for us to show up. [to wake up, get up and get busy]”

In summary of this eventful week, I learned or was reminded of many lessons over those last few days:

1. Remember, Don’t turn on the TV before prayer and Bible reading [and coffee maybe].
2. Turn off the TV [and radio and social media and human conversation] and pray when your emotions get ahead of your spirit.
3. Pray with partners who can encourage and uplift with unbiased input.
4. Avoid all strife. Love and forgive. Seek highest ground of Agape Love as well as nonviolent conflict resolution.
5. Spend quality time with God. Pray without filtering the Bible or making God’s Word a “have it your way” buffet.

#CovertheMarch

Thursday, January 26th, 2017

AbortionHurtsWomen

As we get used to expecting the unexpected, President Trump shines the spotlight on tomorrow’s March for Life in DC. At the top of his first 100 days, the “man of the hour” points out that the crowd may be bigger than reported because the media doesn’t give much air time to the annual event.

Every year for the last 43 years pro-life activists have convened on Washington to march for life in protest for all the babies being aborted in America and around the world. This yearly March for Life gathering occurs each January on or about the anniversary of the Roe vs. Wade Supreme Court decision, January 22, 1973. Ironically, I was born on January 22, 1951. So this “for such a time as this” Kairos Moment is personal for me in many ways, including my post abortive testimony.

During previous years, the March coverage has been sparse to say the least. Historically the coverage has been unfavorable, casting the participants in a less than significant light. Added to the slights is the tendency to underestimate the crowd size, the tens of thousands often gathering in inclement weather.

However, there is a dramatic shift of events this year. In a recent interview with ABC’s David Muir President Donald Trump was asked about last week’s Women’s March (which received a lot of media coverage). It’s important to note that participation of prolife women were shunned at that event.

It’s actually refreshing to have a president in office who supports the sanctity of life and is willing to speak the truth and call the media out for not doing the same.

From our vantage point, the pro-life movement is not asking the media to choose our side over another. We just want fair and balanced coverage, coverage of the truth.

I’m in DC for prayer services tonight and in the morning. Please join us, and you can also March actually, and virtually on live stream on EWTN! Finally, if you can’t be there, please pray for all who will be marching for LIFE!

Evangelist Alveda C. King: There is a Battle for the Seed in the Toilets

Thursday, May 19th, 2016

160519 blog image2Both our sons and daughters are impacted by this toilet battle. They are either being flushed down the tube or exposed and exploited shamelessly. This is a battle for THE SEED. Those who are confused between bathrooms will go in and out of both male and female facilities, approaching our boys and girls. The gender confused are also Satan’s victims. As a mother and grandmother of both boys and girls…

“Don’t you see that children are GOD’s best gift? the fruit of the womb his generous legacy? Like a warrior’s fistful of arrows are the children of a vigorous youth. Oh, how blessed are you parents, with your quivers full of children! Your enemies don’t stand a chance against you; you’ll sweep them right off your doorstep.” – Psalm 127:3-5 MSG

Bathroom and abortion coercion have a lot in common. This just in from Newsone.

Roe, Wade and Private Bathrooms
By Nina May
(Reprinted by permission)

I really was trying to avoid writing about this because the left has such a sick agenda on all things “women”. I think it is going to be up to each woman to do her own personal “Girlcott” of businesses who fall for this demeaning, unnecessary, unproductive and stupid idea of allowing men in the women’s restrooms.

The most obvious and apparent inconsistency, in this new dictate from on high, is that it is a direct contradiction of the finding in Roe. vs. Wade which was all about a woman’s right to privacy and the fact that the government could not tell a woman what to do with her body. But now, that same government is taking away the most private aspect of a woman’s life, and that is her bathroom habits.

If she wanted to go into the bathroom to have an abortion, they would clear the entire store of anyone standing in her way, including men pretending to be women for the purpose of preying on them.

And from a practical perspective, how are you going to prove who is who or what? Are you going to make the men drop and the women pull up their dresses to check for the sex the way they do with the baby chicks at Tractor Supply?

160519 blog image1But you can be sure, if they put urinals in the women’s bathroom and a guy, dressed as a woman, is standing there doing his business … the world will know. That seems a little insensitive to me. It’s as though the government is trying to create a situation where transgendered people are humiliated and stigmatized and the only way to force them “out” is to see how they pee, and what they pee with.

I can’t believe liberals and Democrats can be so heartless, so cruel, so discriminating against transgendered individuals. It is just amazing to me that Barack Obama and Hillary can look at themselves in the mirror realizing the trauma they are going to visit upon these poor helpless people. Just shocking.

Ok, so beyond the fact that the left is forcing all transgendered people to fly their flags for the world to see, you have the issue of all the nut cases coming out, pretending to “self-identify” for a few minutes so they can be alone with a woman when she is totally vulnerable. Or what has already been reported is that they are in the adjoining stall filming her privacy … which again, the Supreme Court said the government has an obligation to protect.

So, the government, instead of protecting a woman’s privacy and right to choose to pee in private, have thrown them to the dogs. They have locked them in a room where they are helpless prey and told them they are evil if they oppose this procedure. So much for women’s rights. But it is a perfect storm for a nationwide “Girlcott” of these establishments.

Women are being told by the store, the local police, the state, the federal government that she is on her own and she might get assaulted in a public bathroom. But, heh, it’s in the interest of diversity and fairness. Fine, then I suggest every woman pack when she goes to the bathroom. As soon as you get in a stall, pull the slide back and let it pop, just to send that recognizable sound throughout the bathroom in case some predator is lurking in a neighboring stall.

160519 blog image3You could even drop a couple of bullets on the floor as you pack your clip so they think you are a little nervous, and think they might have the upper hand as they try and grab you as you exit the stall. But to further throw them off, pretend you are on the cell phone, telling someone exactly where you are and that it’s getting harder and harder just to pee in public. Say loudly that just the day before, you had to pop two guys who were pretending to be women in the Target bathroom.

Women have lost all power in this society and we can thank the democrats, the liberals, the feminists, and men who think women are nothing more than brood mares and have convinced them to kill their own babies in the name of privacy but won’t give that woman privacy in the bathroom.

We need another women’s movement in America where they regain the rights the radical feminists have squandered through the years by trying so hard to make women like men. They have lost their dignity and humanity and have allowed themselves to be intimidated and manipulated by a social engineering plan designed to eradicate the distinctions between men and women.

And all of this totally ignores the very private issues of colostomy bags, catheters, insulin pumps, IBS, and a myriad of other private, medical or just plain embarrassing situations people have to deal with on a daily and often times, irregular basis. What about their rights? What about pregnant women or nursing mom or women dealing with monthly issues? There are so many elements to a woman’s physiology that men are clueless about and for them to now force women into their world of exposed body parts and urinals is insensitive, misogynist, and dangerous.

The only reasonable explanation is that men feel they are superior to women and will not be happy until all aspects and characteristics of women are melded into those of a man, eradicating women all together.

The clueless feminists are empowering this genocide that is creating a totally male dominated society, like many countries where women have no rights at all. There, women are just objects to breed the next generation of boorish men who are clueless about what a real woman is, and you can be sure, she doesn’t have a penis.

160519 blog image4So, if the right to privacy has been determined by the Supreme Court to protect what a woman does with her body then either be consistent in the law, or overturn Roe. v. Wade.

Oh, and to bring it current, liberals give Trump a hard time about being anti-women when they are pushing the biggest anti-women, anti-privacy, anti-choice move in the history of the country.

There is an easy solution that is in a lot of countries, in fact I encountered it in Israel. There is a bathroom space where the sinks are in an open space for everyone to use. But there are private, lockable stalls that anyone can use, very much like on an airline. You are in there alone, do your PRIVATE business then come out and wash your hands with everyone … men and women.

There are logical fixes if these clueless men are determined to go down this road, but to argue it in terms of “protecting” the privacy of one class of people while destroying it for others is just another line item on the left’s long list of ways to destroy our culture … and dehumanize women.

“Reproductive Genocide Anniversary Video Shocker Gauche To Say The Least” says Dr. Alveda King

Thursday, January 24th, 2013

130124 blog image

“Necessary Roughness” actor Mehcad Brooks and the pro-abortion Center for Reproductive Rights want America to celebrate the deaths of an estimated 56 million unborn lost to abortion since the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision 40 years ago. Their subsequent release of a video “Happy 40th Anniversary, Baby” this week has been branded as gauche, “skanky,” “sick” and “disgusting.”

Please see the macabre original video and compelling response video from Day Gardner which shows what the anti- aborts really mean to celebrate. [UPDATE: There was such an outrage from both pro-lifers and pro-aborts that the video has been taken down.]

In the original video Brooks is dressed to kill, holding a rose, striking a cocktail glass and saying “Hey baby, did you think I forgot?”

With a background if sinister flames, he continues, “How could I ever forget our anniversary? All these years. So many people said we’d never make it. They’ve been trying to tear us apart. Take you away. Put limits on you. On me. On us.”

“But every time we’ve proven ourselves stronger. An anniversary like this is not something you forget.”

In response, using Brooks as a voice over, Gardner portrays the graphic images of the victims of Roe VS Wade.

As a pastoral counselor to many young women, and director of African American Outreach at Priests for Life, I was upset by the spot. A young woman in her 20s sent me her reaction and I think it’s so compelling. This young woman wrote: ‘I feel molested after seeing it. Skanky, fitting for what it celebrates, sick. Is he married to abortion?’”

She had previously viewed “Necessary Roughness,” but she and many others will be turning the channel in the future.

As an African-American man, Mehcad Brooks should be shielding women from abuse and working to foster new generations of good men. Instead, he is spreading slime over the airwaves.

When I viewed the original, I felt violated and felt like I was observing evil personified. Women are outraged. I’m post-abortive, and this is the last thing I and millions of other post-abortive women will tolerate.

While Day’s response video brings my own pain to the surface, I’m glad for her courage. Our babies deserve to have the truth before the eyes of the people.

As my co-creator of our internet talk show THE VISION, a former Miss Delaware and president of the National Black Pro-Life Union, Day is “spot on it.”

“I found it totally disgusting. It turned my stomach,” says Day. “I thought the whole thing was very demonic because he’s sitting there as a member of the black community and we have the highest abortion rate. As a man, he’s a bad example when the black community has such a problem with its men stepping up to be the fathers their children need. This is so evil and so wrong on many levels. “Every time he said the word ‘baby, I kept seeing all the babies that were tortured and brutally killed since the Roe v. Wade ruling. More than 55 million children have been killed and this idiot is laughing.”

Read what others have to say: [Excerpts from Anita Cranes WND report]

“In the 40 years since Roe v. Wade was set down, more than 55 million unborn children have been killed while that many mothers were wounded by abortion. Ask the post-abortive women who stood on the steps of the Supreme Court yesterday if the abortion they now painfully regret was sexy or romantic. The Center for Reproductive Rights and Mehcad Brooks should be ashamed for attempting to glamorize abortion in this way – women deserve better.”

Marjorie Dannenfelser, founder and president of the Susan B. Anthony List

“Women deserve better than abortion.” Feminists for Life

“As abortion supporters celebrate Roe as a romantic anniversary, I have to think about the 56 million children who will never celebrate an anniversary with anyone. It’s beyond disrespectful… [for] Mehcad Brooks to make a joke out of the violent deaths of millions of unborn children while millions of mothers and fathers mourn the loss of their children to abortion.” Lila Rose, Live Action News

“This video represents an all-time low for the pro-abortion movement.

“It’s misogynistic and exploitive. Even worse, it’s making a joke of something as serious as abortion. Treating this issue so cavalierly is really insulting, not only to the pro-life movement but to all women. I can’t imagine this will appeal to even the most ardent abortion supporters.” Janet Morana, executive director of Priests for Life, co-founder of the Silent No More Awareness Campaign and author of the new book “Recall Abortion.”

“I actually went and commented on this guy’s Facebook, as many in my group are doing, just thanking him for showing us what abortion really is: the selfish and unapologetic exploitation of women.” Destiny Herndon-De La Rosa, a founder of New Wave Feminists

“I am the woman once known as the Jane Roe of Roe v. Wade. But I dislike the name Jane Roe and all that it stands for. I am a real person named Norma McCorvey and I want you to know the horrible and evil things that Roe v. Wade did to me and others. I never got the opportunity to speak for myself in my own court case. It is like a living hell knowing that you have had a part to play, though in some sense I was just a pawn of the legal system. But I have had to accept my role in the deaths of millions of babies and the destruction of women’s lives.” Norma McCorvey, Roe No More

“Safe & Legal” Project Highlights Abortion’s Danger to Women

Wednesday, January 9th, 2013

Priests for Life

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Date: January 9, 2013

Contact: Leslie Palma
347-286-7277

In 1996, then-President Bill Clinton famously said he would like to see abortion “safe, legal and rare.” Seventeen years later, abortion remains legal. It kills more than a million unborn babies a year, so it is certainly not rare. And as a new project called “Safe & Legal” demonstrates, abortion is not safe for women.

“We are bringing graphic visuals to the truth that abortion harms women,” explains Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, which is co-sponsoring this project along with Operation Rescue and Life Dynamics (the group which initiated it).

A new brochure, entitled “Safe and Legal,” shows a beautiful photo of Marla Cardamone, and then her horrific autopsy photos following her death by “safe and legal abortion” at a respected hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.

“I am grateful to Marla’s mom, Deborah, and her husband for their full support of this project and their permission to use these photos,” said Fr. Pavone. “As they know, this project isn’t just about Marla; it’s about the countless women Marla represents, who are killed by abortion without the world ever knowing.”

This past July, Priests for Life and its Director of African-American Outreach, Alveda King, helped bring attention to a young mother, Tonya Reaves, who was killed after a botched second-trimester abortion in Chicago.

“The utter failure of the abortionist to get help for Tonya after she developed complications constitutes nothing less than murder,” Fr. Pavone explained.

The case of Tonya, and many others, will be highlighted along with that of Marla on the special website, SafeAndLegal.com that has been developed for this project.

The brochure about Marla will be distributed widely by Priests for Life and others at this year’s March for Life. Moreover, also at the March, Priests for Life will release Executive Director Janet Morana’s new book, Recall Abortion, which makes the case that abortion is a failed product that should be recalled by the government just as other harmful products have been recalled. This book, along with the annual gathering of the Silent No More Awareness Campaign, which Janet co-founded, will reinforce the same message about how abortion harms women.

“We ask everyone to get involved and to spread the truth about Marla and others killed and wounded by abortion,” said Fr. Frank. “As Deborah Cardamone has said often, we have to speak, because if we are silent, we are part of the problem.”

Big Tax Bucks Linked to Abortion Deaths Glaring in the Light of the Tonya Reaves Lawsuits

Tuesday, January 8th, 2013

130108 blog image

Last summer, the National Black Prolife Coalition was among the first and most outraged groups to demand justice for the death of Tonya Reaves, a young Black woman killed by abortion in Chicago. For years, women who have been harmed by abortion have been crying out that “abortion hurts women!” Janet Morana is right to lead the crusade to RECALL ABORTION. As we somberly yet purposefully approach the 40 year landmine of the anniversary of Roe VS Wade, let us make no mistake about it. We are ready to continue this battle for LIFE AT ALL COSTS.

Yesterday Operation Rescue wrote an article stating that a second lawsuit had been filed against Planned Parenthood in the death of Tonya Reaves. Again, Tonya Reaves was a 24 year-old woman who went to Planned Parenthood for an abortion which they botched. She was then left bleeding for five hours before an ambulance was called. She was rushed to the hospital where they discovered that the abortion performed by Planned Parenthood was incomplete and she had to undergo another abortion in the hospital to remove the remainder of the baby. But it was too late and Tonya Reaves died later that evening in the hospital.

The first wrongful death lawsuit against Planned Parenthood was filed by Tonya’s family. The second lawsuit was filed on behalf of Tonya’s surviving son, Alvin, by his father. Tonya and her baby died, leaving young Alvin motherless.

Some people will not understand that along with the injustice of Planned Parenthood killing Tonya, another injustice occurred. They killed her baby in her womb as well. So how do we express to Tonya’s family in a loving way that two people died that day?

Because of lack of coverage by much of the media, not too many people are even aware of Tonya’s murder. And despite efforts by the National Black Prolife Coalition through press releases to hold Planned Parenthood accountable, there seems to be an unusual amount of stall tactics where justice should prevail. One can’t help but remember the onslaught of outrage during the Trayon Martin tragedy? Where are all of those outraged Black leaders who were demanding swift justice for the tragic slaying of Trayvon?

Not only are the leaders of the NAACP and other Black voices such as Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson lacking in conversation surrounding the unjust death of Tonya. Absent also is the outrage over the death of Tonya’s baby and the other 3,699 babies that were killed that day in abortion mills throughout this country. And all the while, Planned Parenthood keeps laughing on the way to the bank while killing hundreds of thousands of babies every year, to the tune of over 50 million dead babies on record since 1973. What’s even worse is that where before 2012, Planned Parenthood was receiving $1 million dollars a day in U. S. tax dollars, yes, around $365 million dollars a year; in 2012 they received over $500 million dollars from our tax coffers. And they are still operating poorly regulated killing centers around this country. And in a few days, people will be observe the 40th commemoration of legal baby slaughter in America.

Yes, abortion is legal; but it shouldn’t be. Abortion is not civil. Abortion is not moral. Abortion hurts women, kills babies, and even kills women like Tonya and the countless others who have died from abortion and/or subsequent complications over the years. Coat hangers are the excuse they hang over the head of the dead babies and maimed women. But as is explained by recording artist Fred Hammond, many women never used a coat hanger even when abortion was illegal. They just had a “medical procedure” called a D&C for a “mysterious female ailment” which was really a baby in the mother’s/patient’s womb.

The abortion industry began saying that they wanted to make abortion legal, safe, and rare. They have successes in one, legal. Safe, not so. Ask Tonya. Rare? Is 54+ million rare?

As for rare, Planned Parenthood’s annual report just released for FY 2011-2012 (calendar year 2011) shows that abortions are not rare with a record number of abortions in 2011 with 333,964. Over the last three years (2009-2011) Planned Parenthood has performed nearly one million abortions (995,687)

As for safe, well, I think we’ve covered that. I would just like to mention that there have been over 345 reported deaths linked directly botched abortions. And that’s just the ones that we know of that have been attributed to the abortions and are documented. Many other deaths are attributed to other causes but are actually a result of abortion complications.

This outrage bears repeating over and over – despite the government’s saying that they do not pay for abortions, Planned Parenthood received a record $542 million in taxpayer funding last year. They can spin it any way they want to, but our tax dollars are funding murder by abortion and not just for babies. Their mothers are dying too. Women are being lied to; told that abortions are safe and are a civil right. And our babies are dying.

I’M OUTRAGED! WE ALL SHOULD BE OUTRAGED! RECALL ABORTION now!
