Injustice Anywhere is a Threat to Justice Everywhere!

Wednesday, November 30th, 2011

First, this isn’t just about Herman Cain. He is definitely being treated unjustly, with all the tabloid politics and lies and totally unsubstantiated allegations. In America a person is supposed to be innocent until proven guilty. Not so with Mr. Herman Cain. Evil forces fear Mr. Cain because he is a problem solver and has answers that can HEAL AMERICA. The evil naysayers profit on pain, suffering and problems, promising to solve all our ills, and never doing so. Think about how abortion promises to solve a woman’s problems but really givers her more problems at her expense!

Now, back to the purpose of this blog. What I’m really saying is that if we allow Mr. Cain to be thrown under the bus, or the train in his case, who is going to be next?

Let me digress for just a moment… I have been asked many times in the past, and in the not too distant past, “why don’t you run for president?”

I’m a human being with brown skin, which is generally considered to be Black. I’m a female, a mother and grandmother. As far as political positioning in America goes, I fall in what some call the conservative category. To sum all of this up, I try to be an honest and good person, and I love and follow Jesus. Tragically, being a good person with good moral values is not enough get someone elected to the highest office in this country and perhaps around the world.

You see, like everyone else on the planet, I’m only human with human failings, born into a world of sin, and as such, I’ve made mistakes in the past. I’ve done some things I’m not proud of and I even talk about them in public in hopes that they might help someone not make the same mistakes I’ve made. However, if people speak falsehoods about/against me, it would take a lifetime to disprove their allegations. So, other than by denying the attacks, I keep moving forward in most cases without even trying to defend myself. I generally try to let the Lord fight my battles.

As Matthew 5:10-12 says, “Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

“Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”

Again, people have asked me why I don’t run for President of the United States. Besides that fact that I don’t consider myself qualified to be President of the United States there are many other reasons why I wouldn’t want to run. Today’s politics are such that those who follow the Father of Lies will use any tactics to bring down those that would do good for our country. The good and righteous person lives by certain standards and lines he/she will not cross. Evil, however, has no boundaries, no standards, no lines they won’t cross.

Not all of the current candidates seeking office are doing it for power, prestige, or fame; but rather because they love America and have a desire to make this country the best it can be. The media should focus on the issues and not on tabloid politics and unsubstantiated allegations made by those that want to bring good men down.

Mr. Herman Cain is at the top of the tabloid politics hit list. Why does the opposition fear Mr. Herman Cain so much? Think about it. Herman Cain offers solutions to President Obama’s failed stimulus plan, and to the failed liberal platform that supports entitlements and handouts as a way of life. Herman Cain represents an empowerment/opportunity quality of life. Think again… If the general election features two Black men of opposing political views, and Black America hears an honest political debate, the establishment will lose a portion of their 90 percent stranglehold on the Black vote.

Slurs to a lesser degree have also been aimed at Michele Bachmann and Rick Perry. Again, tabloid style politics of any type are unacceptable and should not be tolerated by the people of this country. We the people must demand a more just political process. If someone is going to talk about another person’s character they must have irrefutable proof and not just their word. The people should demand this and so should the media.

We must demand that the media reports on the issues, and let us see the platforms of the candidates!

Hope You Had a Happy Thanksgiving!

Monday, November 28th, 2011

This year the pro-life movement has much to be thankful for.

The shocking, award-winning documentary, “180”, received over one and a half million views. If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend it.

Many states across the country are introducing legislation in their perspective states to help bring an end to abortion and close down abortion killing centers. Legislation like personhood initiatives, abortion facility regulation, heartbeat bills, fetal pain bills and others. Not all are passing and those that are passed are being challenged on appeal. Either way, this is all good news because we have the momentum. Planned Parenthood has been on the defense most of the year as are others in the abortion industry as they see their stranglehold slipping away.

Several polls this year showed a shift towards pro-life view. One poll showed that a majority of Americans favoring laws that restricted abortions while others showed that most people stated that they thought abortion should be legal in a few or no cases.

Live Action continued to expose Planned Parenthood and all the lies they tell in an effort to protect their government funded killing abortion business.

unPlanned, the revealing book written by Abby Johnson, former Planned Parenthood of Texas Director, was released and has been instrumental in exposing Planned Parenthood from an insider who quit her job after assisting in an ultrasound guided abortion and witnessing the baby struggle for its life. Abby has since hit the pro-life speaking circuit and is speaking out against abortion.

Here at Priests for Life African-American Outreach, we visited many cities this year and shared the message of life, encouraging many prolife warriors and new members of the movement. Visit Frontlines for the latest.

Most of all, as we approach Christmas and celebrate the birth of our Lord, we at Priests for Life thank God for His love towards us all. God bless you!

Christmas Season Entertainment

Monday, November 21st, 2011

Every Christmas season the entertainment industry puts out movies to attract moviegoers to the theatres. And it seems that the movies like the decorations start earlier and earlier each year. It’s not uncommon to start seeing Christmas movies coming out in early November. And in our culture today, not all movies that are being put out are good. One such movie this year is “A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas.” This movie shows lesbian scenes involving nuns, obscenities hurled at Our Lord Jesus Christ, and trashing of the Blessed Virgin Mary to name a few.

With the number of movies released during this holiday season, there are plenty to choose from that are not offensive and have a more positive message for the viewers. Some are just plain inspiring, while others are your basic Christmas good cheer and others have nothing to do with Christmas but are your classic big movie release. Whatever your taste, whatever your flavor of movie I hope you will check it out before you head on down to the movie theatre and let them film companies know that you will not put up with some of the smut they like to push for entertainment by avoiding that are anti-Christian.

A good idea is to check out the video section in your local Christian book store for life affirming movies you and the family can watch together.

May your Christmas season this year be filled with good fun, and good cheer!

Let’s Not Forget About the Horrors of Abortion

Tuesday, November 15th, 2011

Do you remember Dr. Kermit Gosnell and the abortion clinic which became more commonly known as “House of Horrors”?

On January 19, 2011 Dr. Kermit Gosnell and nine other employees from the West Philadelphia Women’s Medical Society were arrested and charged with various offenses ranging like murder, conspiracy to commit murder, conspiracy to participate in a corrupt organization, illegally administering drugs to patients without a license, and perjury.

Officials described his squalid clinic like something out of a horror movie.

“There were bags and bottles holding aborted fetuses scattered throughout the building,” said Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams. “There were jars, lining shelves, with severed feet that he kept for no medical purpose.”

Dr. Gosnell aborted some babies by fully delivering the babies and then sticking scissors in the back of the babies’ necks and severing their spinal cords.

When the story first came out there was a lot of media coverage. Then as time has gone on people started forgetting about what was found at this abortion clinic. Many who are not in the pro-life movement probably never even heard of the arrests or if they did they just dismissed it as just another terrible crime in today’s world. But we can’t forget because although this case is a pretty horrible, disturbing one, the same type of abortion centers are still open all over this country. And they too are hurting women.

While film BLOODMONEY describes some of the inner workings of the abortion industry, we must realize that there is so much more to know about what goes on behind closed doors of these killing centers.

Some states like Kansas and Illinois are enacting laws to regulate the abortion clinics which the abortion industry is fighting profusely to limit abortion accountability. The abortion industry doesn’t want to be regulated because it would cut into their profits. They would have to spend time and money to sterilize instruments; they would have to clean rooms where abortions are performed between patients; they would have to pay to have qualified personnel working at these clinics. All of these things cost money and cuts into their profits.

To date, six of the defendants have pled guilty to charges ranging from murder to perjury, most for murder. Some are probably going to testify against the other four which includes Dr. Gosnell.

Pray for the prosecutors in Philadelphia, for their vigorous prosecution of this case and for setting an example for other states to follow. This abortion clinic in Philadelphia is not an isolated case. Like I said earlier, there are abortion clinics all over this country that are operating in the same manner as the “House of Horrors” operated.

We pray that other prosecutors in other states find the courage to do the right thing. They need to go after those that do not follow even the simplest steps to assure cross-contamination from unsterilized instruments; they need to go after those that botch abortions; they need to go after those that disregard regulations.

We must also pray for those who are involved in the killings that they too can come to the light. The late Dr. Bernard Nathanson was one such doctor that saw the evil of what he was doing and got out of the business and began speaking out against abortion. Read his testimony HERE.

We need strong men/women of conviction to protect women from doctors like Gosnell.

Pray to end abortion!

God bless!

Priests for Life Applauds Feast of Blessed John Paul II

Tuesday, November 15th, 2011

Date: November 14, 2011

Contact: Andre Kim

Washington, DC – Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, applauded the vote this afternoon of the US Bishops to include in the United States liturgical calendar the Feast of Blessed John Paul II on October 22. After this action is approved by Rome, Churches in the United States will have the option of using the special prayers at Mass written in honor of John Paul II each year on October 22.

Fr. Pavone said, “This is a special blessing for our people, because it gives them yet another opportunity to honor the man whom many of us call the Pope of Life. A liturgical feast day is an occasion to ask for the intercession of the one who is honored, to reflect on his teachings, and to resolve to imitate his example.

“Pope John Paul II, whom I was privileged to know and under whom I worked on pro-life issues at the Vatican, has left the Church the most comprehensive and compelling body of pro-life teachings in our history. Moreover, his example of unwavering dedication to speaking up for the weakest among us – the children still in the womb – and for challenging public authority to protect them, is an example we all need more than ever. As the battle for life intensifies, we also need his intercession more than ever. Once this new liturgical feast is approved by Rome, Priests for Life will promote it vigorously within the parishes and other Catholic institutions across the United States.”

Fr. Pavone Congratulates New Chairman-Elect of Bishops’ Committee on Pro-life Activities

Monday, November 14th, 2011

Date: November 14, 2011

Contact: Andre Kim

Washington, DC – Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, congratulated His Eminence Cardinal Sean O’Malley, Archbishop of Boston, on being elected today as the next Chairman of the US Bishops’ Committee on Pro-life Activities. Cardinal O’Malley’s position will take effect next year.

“The Priests for Life association, as the Church’s largest ministry focused exclusively on ending abortion and euthanasia, works in conjunction with local bishops and their episcopal conferences around the world. For the last 20 years, we have appreciated the collaborative relationship we have had with the US Bishops’ Committee on Pro-life Activities, and we look forward to increasing that collaboration under the leadership of Cardinal O’Malley. There is no issue or challenge facing the Church that carries greater urgency and consequence for the human family than abortion. We thank the bishops for their leadership in making that clear,” Fr. Pavone stated.

Priests for Life, as a recognized association of the faithful, is not part of the structure of the US bishops’ conference. Priests for Life has its own advisory board of 20 bishops and Cardinals, as can be seen at

Fr. Pavone Applauds Bishops’ Statement on Post-abortion Healing

Monday, November 14th, 2011

Date: November 14, 2011

Contact: Andre Kim

Fr. Frank Pavone, Pastoral Director of Rachel’s Vineyard, issued the following statement today after Cardinal Daniel DiNardo (Galveston-Houston), Cardinal Sean O’Malley (Boston), and Cardinal Donald Wuerl (Washington, DC) addressed this morning’s meeting of the United States Catholic Bishops regarding the topic of healing after abortion:

We at Rachel’s Vineyard and Priests for Life are grateful for the strong affirmation today, on the part of the bishops, that nobody who has committed abortion should be afraid to approach God and the Church for reconciliation and healing.

As the largest ministry in the Catholic Church for healing after abortion, Rachel’s Vineyard, which operates under the umbrella of Priests for Life, is a key resource for the Church’s Project Rachel ministry. Some 70 dioceses in the United States alone utilize Rachel’s Vineyard as part of (or in some cases their only) ministry of healing after abortion. Rachel’s Vineyard, as an interdenominational ministry, also serves other Christian Churches with its retreat program.

This year, Rachel’s Vineyard will have completed close to a thousand retreats worldwide for both women and men who have suffered from abortion.

In the year ahead, we look forward to continued growth, not only with retreats but with training for priests, counselors, and other professionals based on the research and teaching of Rachel’s Vineyard founder Dr. Theresa Burke and her husband Kevin, and the other pastoral resources provided by Priests for Life.

Along with more training, the bishops have also called for increased efforts to get the word out to the tens of millions of people in need of this healing. The Silent No More Awareness Campaign (a project of Priests for Life and Anglicans for Life), the world’s largest mobilization of men and women who have experienced healing after abortion, is one of the ways to do this. Their testimonies, shared in Churches, at public rallies, and in the media, evoke in the hearts of those who are alienated from the Church the confidence that they can return and find the peace for which they long. The Campaign is gearing up for a large public gathering in conjunction with the January March for Life in Washington and Walk for Life in San Francisco.

For more information about the healing and testimonies that are available, and about the January events, visit Silent No More Awareness and Rachel’s Vineyard.

In addition to this statement, Rachel’s Vineyard Ministries also issued a statement clarifying the distinction and complementarity between “Rachel’s Vineyard” and “Project Rachel.” That statement accompanies this release.

Rachel’s Vineyard: A Healing Gift to the Church
By Fr Frank Pavone
Pastoral Director and Chairman of the Board of Rachel’s Vineyard Ministries

A voice was heard in Ramah: wailing and great mourning. Rachel was crying for her children. She refused to be comforted, because they no longer existed. –Matthew 2:18

Many post abortion ministries have a reference to “Rachel” in their title which points to a biblical passage from Jeremiah concerning the exile of God’s people and later found in Matthew’s Gospel in the tragic account of the slaughter of the first born males in Bethlehem by Herod’s soldiers. For those ministering to mothers and fathers after abortion, this reference to the loud cries of wailing and grief at the loss of the innocent children of Bethlehem became a powerful biblical metaphor calling the Christian community to offer the healing of Christ for all who have participated in the death of the unborn.

Two prominent post abortion ministries share the name Rachel. Project Rachel is a name of the official post abortion outreach of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and a number of Dioceses use this umbrella term as the name of their offices that offer post abortion services. There are other post abortion ministries that operate in other Diocesan offices, such as Family Life or Respect Life, or as part of the Catholic Charities outreach. There are countless independent post abortion ministries operating with varying degrees of collaboration with their local diocese. Within the interdenominational community, we find a similar diversity of post abortion ministries and programs.

Rachel’s Vineyard: A Ministry of Service to God’s People

The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many people. – Matthew 20:28

Rachel’s Vineyard Ministries (RVM) features a weekend healing retreat for post abortion healing found in 33 countries with the retreat manual translated into 14 languages. In addition RVM, drawing from its extensive experience of 15 years in international post abortion ministry, offers the latest in training and resources to those ministering to anyone wounded by abortion. At the heart of the mission of RVM is being at the service to those churches, faith communities and ministries called to bring the healing of Christ to those wounded by abortion.

Whether a Project Rachel ministry in a US diocese or an interdenominational community overseas, the heart of the mission of Rachel’s Vineyard is one of service offering our experience, programs and resources to empower post abortion ministries to better serve God’s people.

11.11.11 Releases a new song at THE CALL DETROIT

Monday, November 14th, 2011

The numerical series 11.11.11 received much attention. Of course, this is just one of countless numerical configurations that point to the truth of the Intelligent Designer of all Creation including the universe as we are discovering it. Actually, 11.11.11 is more powerful that 9.11 which traumatized and confounded the world for almost a decade.

In the unfolding saga of the greatness of Almighty God, the truthful power of Jesus Christ the Son of God and the Awesome Mystery of the Holy Spirit of God, there was a sign, a convergence in Detroit, Michigan for 24 hours on 11.11.11. Yours truly was there as a witness.

The theme of THE CALL DETROIT 11.11.11 was all about Occupy the Kingdom of God and let GOD’s Son Jesus be revealed in the earth. It turned out to be an incredible repentance and forgiveness; for racism, sexually immorality, abortion; shedding of innocent blood including gang violence. We prayed for America, for governments, families, loved ones, strangers, healing, and so much more… Goodness, you had to be there. Maybe GOD TV will re-air it.

When an ex-Muslim terrorist kneeled before his Jewish brother in Christ and repented for the ancient tribal war of Ishmael and Isaac, the crowd was amazed and fell into deep worship of GOD. When the tribes of the globe mutually repented for sins of racism to each other, the healing deepened. When the truth about abortion was revealed, when fathers repented to the mothers of the aborted children, when the wounded women repented and held up our heads free from shame, the healing mercy of GOD washed us all.

When the revelation of the always living, never dying DNA and RNA of THE BLOOD OF JESUS was released in the meeting, we all sang THE BLOOD THAT JESUS SHED FOR ME WILL NEVER LOOSE ITS POWER. That old traditional hymn became a NEW SONG!

Again, you had to be there—but then again, you didn’t. There was much released into the atmosphere, causing the Praying Church, the Worshipping and Praying Church to rise to a new level. The impact is permanent and universal.

Below is the text of remarks from the meeting:

Dr. Alveda King
Remarks at THE CALL DETROIT: 11/11/11
November 12, 2011

Dear Heavenly Father, it’s us. We, Your people who are called by Your Name. Wash us in the Blood of Your Dear and Precious Son, Jesus in Whom You are well pleased. Guide us by the Power of Your Holy Spirit to humble ourselves and pray, and seek Your face that we and our land may be healed. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

First, let’s revisit a little history, going back even before the 300 terrible years of the Willie Lynch Saga, which we all know is about the dark time of racism and slavery in America. Let’s go back even further to visit a man named Jacob. His great-grandfather Abraham is the ancient Father of Many Nations. Joseph’s grandfather Isaac sowed in times of famine and became a very rich man. Joseph’s father Jacob wrestled with the angel of GOD and his name was changed to Israel. Anyway, a spirit of miscommunication caused spirits of jealousy, greed, murder and slavery to be released into Joseph’s life. His brothers – who by the way were the same color as he was, so slavery isn’t just about skin color- Jacob’s brothers threw him into a pit and Joseph became a slave and later by the grace of God, he became a liberator.

And then there was Moses, a Hebrew baby who was adopted by an Egyptian Princess. The brown Hebrew nation was oppressed by the brown rulers of Egypt. God raised up Moses to be the voice of liberation for His “chosen people.”

Then there is Africa of a more modern day, which found the same brown skinned descendents of Abraham, Isaac, Israel and Joseph in bondage for hundreds of years, still singing the freedom Bible songs, GO DOWN MOSES, JOSHUA FIT THE BATTLE OF JERICO… They were still singing THE LORD’S SONGS in a strange land – Africa.

Again, brown-now-black skinned people sold the FREEDOM SINGERS to another land, this time to people with pink and beige skin, called Caucasians. The slaves were transported to a land called America and met the Willie Lynch slave system, and Jim Crow and a host of horrors.

Today, we are gathered together, and we are still singing the Bible Freedom songs, which you will hear at THE CALL DETROIT 11.11.11

Today, as human beings, many of us have lived in two centuries. We have experienced the presence of Almighty God across the ages. In the 20th Century, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was called as a modern day Moses to lead a spiritual movement that would be historically labeled as the Civil Rights Movement of the 20th Century. The hub of the 20th Century Movement was in Birmingham, Alabama. Called the “Sons of Thunder,” my father, Rev. A. D. King is brother to Martin. They have been compared to John and Robert Kennedy in that they both gave their lives as Freedom Fighters. Both men love the Lord, and they live in heaven together today.

Uncle M. L., Daddy, and their earthly father, Daddy King were preachers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They were Freedom Fighters, and they were also Pro-Life Warriors. Daddy King rescued me from abortion in 1950. You can read the story in my book: HOW CAN THE DREAM SURVIVE IF WE MURDER THE CHILDREN?

Even though I had two secret abortions in the nineteen sixties and seventies, and a miscarriage due to the ravages of sin and secrets, God did not give up on me. In the mid-nineteen seventies, Daddy King and the father of the fifth child I was carrying convinced me spiritually, scientifically, medically and socially that the baby in my womb was truly a human being entitled to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

In 1983, I gave my life to Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, and in the 1990’s became a “Voice for Life,” working today with Priests for Life Ministries.

Last night, I met a young woman who sat on the knee of Daddy King when she was 2 years old. She is 32 years old today. She shared with me that she was slated for abortion, and her father and mother let her live. Daddy King said she would have a spiritual destiny, and that her life would help many people.

You see, Daddy King, like his sons M. L. and A. D. and like many in our family, was a prophet. All those years ago when my mother wanted to abort me, Daddy King told her: “No. They are lying to you. She is not a lump of flesh. She is a little girl, with bright skin and bright red hair. She will be a blessing to many.” So you see, this little girl who is part Irish, part African and part Native American is standing before you today to bear witness of Acts 17:26, that of One Blood, God made all people to live on earth in a Beloved Community, and one day, to live in Eternity with Him. So we are one human race, not separate races. Racism is the spawn of a divisive lie. We are one human family in need of the Blood of Jesus!

Amos 5:24 says: But let justice roll down like waters And righteousness like an ever-flowing stream. My Uncle ML quoted that in his MOUNTAINTOP speech. He had a dream that we would all be free one day. Our prayers today are for repentance and freedom. For all human beings, from conception until natural death.

As Dr. Levonne Yuille, the Father of the Black Pro-Life Movement of the late 20th Century prepares to come to you, please allow me to say that I am Dr. Alveda King. I too have a dream. It is in my genes.

Here in Detroit, Michigan, a focal point of the 21st Century Civil Rights Movement, we lift up the banner of JESUS, coming against the lie of abortion, eugenics, genocide, euthanasia, and all that would destroy abundant life that our Lord and Master Jesus promises us. We bind murder in the womb, we bind sexual immorality, we bind idolatry. We chose Life In Jesus’ Name!

Friends, we are standing at the river. Justice and Righteousness flow together at the ford before us. For some the crossing is shallow, for some the crossing is deep. There is a river whose streams make glad the people of God. Agape Love is the bridge across the rushing streams. Let us launch out into the deep without fear. The freedom rides of the 20th Century meet the pro-life freedom rides of the 21st Century. The witness of the Dreamer Joseph of the ancient Bible days, the witness of the Prophet Moses of those times, the witness of the Sons of Thunder and all the beloved apostles of the early century all are with us today in the cloud of Heavenly worshipers. We gathered here and across the globe join together at this THE CALL DETROIT, 11/11/11. We Occupy this Planet today in our prayers. We resist the forces of darkness that try to wrest the knowledge of our Kingdom Inheritance from us. We resist their violent attacks against the Kingdom of our Heavenly Father. Their force must bend, bow and break before the Power of Almighty God! We draw near to God. We resist the devil. Flee Satan! As Jesus teaches us, by the Power of God’s Holy Spirit, and the ministry of the Holy Angels of God, we Occupy Until Jesus comes!

Loose the sound of true worship! Let the sound of the worship of the people who love the Lord fill the atmosphere, drowning out the ancient songs of the enemy that have once ruled this place.

Father, we give you all the glory, all the honor and all the praise. In Jesus Name. Amen

Poetry by Alveda King

Ripples (In Time and Space)

Libations, fluids rippling on the sands bringing time and space together; Bringing souls and spirits together… pebbles on the water, water making ripples,
Ripples in time.
“Behold I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump;
For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised
And we shall be changed.”

Libations, shadows rippling on the sand
The earth beneath my feet changes from my dark and musky
Mother, becoming red and alien, harsh,
As the waters ripple and the great ship rolls.

I am carried away from my familiar jungle of fruits and passion flowers, wild animal friends and even wilder beasts;
Four legged animals, predators and yet, magnificent creations of God, with skins and furs …and fangs.

Yet, change carries us over waters that no longer
The water becomes an awesome, rolling jungle of waves
That carries us on in the Middle Passage
Washing us away from our home ground to a new land of tears and sorrow,
Our newfound home in a new world.

And yet, wherever we were bought,
Beaten and scattered, over continents and islands,
New blood was added to our veins; and yet the Blood of our Motherland remained,
True and deep.
In our new world, we learned to harvest new crops;
Some not quite so different from our jungle fruits and vegetation.
We tamed fields of cotton and tobacco
Even as our wild, free spirits were tamed by the new predator; Two-legged beasts, still creatures of God, yet not quite so magnificent in their borrowed skins and furs. But still their fangs, though changed Remain deadly.

The libations continue
The spirits that were summoned bring new birth to memories
Reflections of time itself.
We see ourselves in a new jungle– still a part of God’s creation,
And yet, the earth has changed.
The soil is not dark and musty between our bare and braceleted feet,
Nor is it red and cracked beneath our chained and callous feet.
It has become rock, concrete,
A machine-made improvement on nature,
And yet still part of nature.

The tribal dancers before the sun, the wind, the rain and the Moon
have become whirling disco bodies beneath a myriad of simulated starlight,
Lightning and thundering electro phonic sounds.

The hunter’s spears and darts have become a mania for Money;
And guns bring down men and the bloodthirsty prey upon the weak who become Homeless, Jobless, and

The savagery continues, though times and methods change. The lie of racism causes us to forget that we are all of one blood. Slaughter begins in the womb, and the terror rains down across the ages. Humanity seems to have forgotten why we are here.

Humankind has changed, and yet has not changed, only
Shimmered and rippled in the reflections of time.

For though one generation passeth away, another generation cometh.
As the sun rises, it sets only to rise again.
The wind goes to the south only to return to the north,
Whirling continually, returning again according to its circuits.
And the rivers run to the sea, yet the sea is not full,
For the rivers return again to that place from which they came.
For that which has been, shall be again, and that which has been done,
Shall be done again.
For as all things change, they remain because: “There is no new thing under the sun.” There are only rippling images of change, all belonging to the universe, The Old, the New created by the Omnipotent
The Lord GOD! Who changes not.

The Call Detroit 11.11.11

Friday, November 11th, 2011

November 11–12, 2011
24 hours, 6pm–6pm

On November 11–12, 2011, thousands from across America will gather to Ford Field (Home of the Detroit Lions) to fast, pray and cry out to God. We will gather to this city that has become a microcosm of our national crisis—economic collapse, racial tension, and the shedding of innocent blood of our children in the streets and of our unborn.

But the place where they say there is no hope, God has chosen as His staging ground for a great communal healing and His house of prayer for all nations. Therefore, we are calling the nation to a 24-hour solemn assembly, daring to believe that Detroit’s desperation can produce a prayer that can change a nation.

Come and take your place on the wall in Detroit, where we will ask God to send fire on our hearts, to forgive our national guilt and establish justice in our land.

If you can’t come to Detroit then Pray, Fast, and cry out the God where you are and join us in spirit. Together we can change our world.

The call will be broadcast live on God TV.

God bless!

Why the Establishment Wants to Destroy Herman Cain

Thursday, November 10th, 2011

By Dr. Alveda King

Published November 09, 2011 |

There are two reasons the liberal media can’t get enough of the Herman Cain smear campaign:

1. They would rather report unsubstantiated allegations and gossip than report the real issues, because talking about the real issues would not be in the best interest of the president.

President Obama is traveling around the country, proposing a stimulus bill that has already failed once. Instead of having an honest discussion about whether or not a plan that already failed once will fail again, the establishment would rather distract the American people with gossip.

The amount of time spent talking about this ridiculous smear campaign while the country is in an economic crisis, shows that the liberal media’s agenda is not to keep people informed, but to keep people distracted from failed establishment economic policies.

2. The establishment is threatened by a strong conservative with such a large platform.

For many years, the Democrats have had a 90% stranglehold on the black vote. This is because many blacks feel that Republicans are racist and only care about the rich, while Democrats love them, give Blacks welfare, etc. When a strong, charismatic, BLACK conservative goes head to head with Obama, many blacks who have not yet done so will actually listen to both sides of the political argument.

They will hear Mr. Cain say that the entitlements given to them don’t help the black community. When Mr. Cain says that welfare is statistically like a disease that is passed from generation to generation, that it promotes single mothers, that it promotes a culture of helplessness and government dependency, people will listen.

When Mr. Cain says I will give you opportunities to improve your quality of life: jobs so that you don’t need government handouts to survive, that the government will teach people to fish rather than give them fish sticks…people will listen.

Mr. Cain would structurally change the voting demographic. There would be more black economic conservatives, and the Democrats would lose their stranglehold on the black vote. The establishment is threatened by that, so they will try to assassinate Mr. Cain’s character, hoping he doesn’t get the chance to go head to head with President Obama.

If the general election features two black men of opposing political views, and Black America hears an honest political debate, the establishment will lose a portion of their 90 percent stranglehold on the black vote.

Let me be very clear about what I mean when I say “the establishment.” There are people on both sides of the aisle and beyond who are disturbed by Mr. Cain’s unorthodox campaign. He rocks the proverbial boat so to speak. So, it’s not entirely about party politics. So for the purpose for this discussion, “establishment” means resistance to truth from every sector.

The establishment, which includes the Obama camp is terrified of what Mr. Cain represents.

Herman Cain is the epitome of the American dream. He grew up poor and worked his way to success, following an ethic he inherited from his father and mother, and with a degree he earned at an historically black school, Morehouse College, where my uncle, Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., also was an alumnus.

Mr. Cain is the fulfillment of Uncle M. L.’s dream. He has lived the black American experience in the South. By the content of his character, not the color of his skin, he has studied hard, worked hard, enjoyed success in business and now aspires to the office of president of the United States. Like Martin Luther King, he is a minister of the Gospel of Jesus. He is not a career politician but out of love for his country, he seeks now to lead.

If we have an honest discussion on whether the war on poverty should be fought with welfare or with economic growth in the private sector, Democrats will lose black votes.

When Mr. Cain says abortion is bad business, is hurting America and denying our youngest the civil right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, that is a dangerous discussion for the Democrats and their pro-abortion platform.

When he says the abortion industry, particularly Planned Parenthood, is committing Black genocide, he is giving a national platform to an issue that the mainstream media was quick to label racist and then sweep back under the carpet.

This controversy is nothing more than a political ploy by the establishment to attempt a high-tech lynching, a brazen – if transparent – effort to eliminate this man who actually dares to present solutions for America’s problems.
