Please tell NOW: Tim and Pam Tebow Testimony: A ray of love and hope for victims of genocide!

Saturday, January 30th, 2010

Tell NOW not to worry. Post abortive mothers are encouraged by the Tebow testimony.
Let us thank God for the courage and love of Tim and Pam Tebow, sharing the choice of life in the face of challenge and controversy. When other women were struggling with the choice of abortion, Pam was blessed to be able to come through her trial and choose life. Tim is the blessed result.
As a post abortive African American mother, a victim of seconday genocide and first hand eugenics; who also faced hard choices, and didn’t know how to find the support needed to choose life at the time, I am not hurt by the Tebow testimony.
It is abortion that hurts women and kills babies. With the verifiable links to abortion and breast cancer, the after effects that women experience (see and women have more to gain by hearing life affirming testimonies than they do from choosing abortion!
I feel like we are on the same team, like I lost the ball in the first or second quarter, got hurt when I was tackled, down on the ground, and had to be carried out of the game to wait it out on the sidelines. Hey, wait, the game of life isn’t over yet. There are other players! Then, while I am healing from my pain, cheering from the sidelines, in comes Pam and Tim with their testimony, they have the ball and they are running to the finish line. They are not hurting me, they are blessing me with their courage and their love!
They choose life and choose to live and tell the story. Touchdown!
I am encouraged! I can see that more and more women will choose life because of the Tebow testimony. And that is truly a good thing. What a mighty blow to genocide. My Uncle Martin said: “truth crushed to earth will rise again.” The truth is, and NOW needs to understand this, abortion hurts women and kills babies. The choice for life respects the civil rights of the baby to live, and the procreative reproductive rights of the mother. The truth will make us free.

Battle for Pregnancy Care Centers Wages: Join in!

Friday, January 29th, 2010

Contact your members of Congress today, and even your state legislators. Defend Pregnancy Centers!

Congress and State Legislators and even county commissioners and city council members are getting a lot of requests to either support or suppress pregnancy care centers. Now is the time to let your voice be heard. Contact your elected officials and let them know you support your pregnancy care centers! You can call them and email them!

The best way to make a statement is for a lot of people to write an e-mail with the same subject line, such as “In support of pregnancy centers. For information on how to reach your elected officials, go to

You can check out some hearings at Also, the Seattle Times wrote a decent article (for the Times), which can be read at

Check out the testimony of Senator Joseph Zarelli (R-18th Dist. – southwest WA), who gave an impassioned plea against the bill. Another is the closing testimony of a young woman, Kimberly Cole, who is a nurse, Lynwood City Council member, and Board member of Public Hospital District 2. She had a crisis pregnancy 6 years ago, and became a client of a center in the Seattle area. This young woman testified to how well she was treated and how much she was helped. How about the support of Senator Cheryl Pflug (R-5th Dist. – east King County, who is also a nurse). She asked the other panel members if any of them were affiliated with Planned Parenthood and four of the six sheepishly raised their hands. They were exposed as “bogus clients” doing undercover work. They were not real clients, like ours were. Sen. Pflug exposed their bias. She also countered the testimony of a doctor on their panel who said there was absolutely no connection between abortion and breast cancer while angrily holding up the printout of a pregnancy center web page that said there was a link. This was to prove that we give out medically inaccurate information. Sen. Pflug went online during the hearings and googled a study by the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center (Univ. of Washington) that says abortion is a risk factor for breast cancer. Sen. Pflug pointed out that the study also says there are 19 other studies drawing the same conclusion. WOW! This is so much more powerful coming from her that from us!

Senator Chris Marr (D-4th Dist. – Spokane), considered to be a swing vote in the Senate, is on the committee, and a co-sponsor of the bill.

Anyone who contacts Sen. Marr may receive an e-mail response defending the bill. This appears to be a “canned” response. Don ‘t let Senator Marr succeed in attempts to make the bill appear innocuous. It is very important to keep up the pressure on him with even more follow up e-mails to this address: Calls to the toll free legislative hotline will not go to him if you live outside his district – same with the e-mail address on the website. The best way to make a statement is for a lot of people to write an e-mail with the same subject line, such as “In support of pregnancy centers,” using the format noted above (last name, first name

Also, please contact Rep. John Driscoll (D-4th Dist. – Spokane). He is the Vice-Chair of the Health and Wellness Committee. He, too, is a swing vote.

Let us all continue to pray for God’s mercy and love working in the hearts of everyone as this battle wages.

Hello Utah legislature: Abortion vulnerable women are not criminals!

Wednesday, January 27th, 2010

The Utah measure to save babies from abortion may be well intended but it heralds imminent disaster. Women who are abortion vulnerble are not so much abortion minded but rather in need of love, counsel and assistance, not jail… They are already disstressed, and in a way, bound in a mental prision. We need to liberate them, not jail them! There is a way to save the babies and their mothers. Silent No More Awareness Campaign has a goal to make abortion unthinkable, not put vulnerable mothers in jail… Abortion, whether legal or illegal is wrong. Period. To punish women who choose more drastic measures, while upholding laws that encourage women to butcher or chemically destroy babies and hurt their mothers’ bodies is just not a solution… Aboriton is a bad scene. Period!

5) A Utah House committee unanimously passed a bill that would allow women seeking illegal abortions to be charged with a crime. The bill grew out of a case last year where a young woman hired someone to beat her so that she would miscarry. The judge ruled that the woman’s action constituted an attempted illegal abortion and that women could not be prosecuted for seeking any kind of abortion.

Intellectual and controversial speaker Dr. Cornel West said:

Thursday, January 21st, 2010

As the speaker at the 2010 Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Service in Atlanta, GA, Dr. West admonished the congregation, in love. Father Frank Pavone participated as a soloist for the rendering of “We Shall Overcome.” Yours truly had a seat as an honored relative of Dr. King.
Dr. West took agape love and the beloved community as a theme. He said many things, including that his mother said don’t be proud and arrogant as peacocks, because “peacocks strut because they can’t fly.” He said justice is what love looks like in public. He said that Martin Luther King, Jr. didn’t grow up in a vaacum, but that Martin had “deep love injections” from his nurturing family. Saying “I love Jesus, and I am washed in the blood,” Dr. West said that “redeemed sinners see the world through eyes of the heart.” He said that we should regard people from the “womb to the tomb.”
He encouraged the listeners to “keep the love flowing” even as he admonished the people.
Princeton University scholar Cornel West delivered a passionate keynote address at Ebenezer Baptist Church to commemorate King’s 81st birthday and mark the 25th federal observance of the holiday. He told the crowd to remember King’s call to help others and not simply enshrine his legacy in “some distant museum.”
King should be remembered as a vital person whose powerful message was once even considered dangerous by the FBI, West said at the church where King preached from 1960 until his assassination in 1968. West also reflected that President Obama is currently the smiling face on the same government that tried to destroy Dr. King 30 years ago.
“I don’t want to give Dr. King a Santa Clause face. I don’t want to sanitize Martin Luther King Jr.,” said West, who teaches in Princeton’s Center for African American Studies and is the author of “Race Matters” and 19 other books.
He later added, “I don’t know about you, but I don’t even mention his name without shivering and shuddering.”
Advice about Obama
Speaking days before the anniversary of Obama’s inauguration, West also told the mostly black audience to hold Obama’s administration accountable even as they celebrate his historic presidency.
He said that President Obama’s election was like putting a foot on the brakes for America.
“Even with your foot on the brake, there are too many precious brothers and sisters under the bus,” West said of Obama. “Where is the talk about poverty? We’ve got to protect him and respect him, but we’ve also got to correct him if the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. is going to stay alive.”

Outrage alert! NARAL will tell a deceptive story!

Wednesday, January 20th, 2010

NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia will hold a press conference today to unveil the results of a year-long investigation in a report titled, “Crisis Pregnancy Centers Revealed.” The Deputy Director of the group said, “When you’re telling women who are scared about unintended pregnancies that condoms have holes and abortions cause cancer, it’s a public-health threat.”

What NARAL will tell you in their outrageous and outlandish report is that pregnancy care centers scare pregnant women. What they won’t tell you is that abortion vunerable women are already scared, and that they are really not seeking death warrants for their children, and health problems for themselves, which is generally the result of abortion.
By the way, free condoms are often defective due to age, causing something called dry rot, the same thing that happends to old stockings on the shelf in a store. Also, abortion is linked to breast cancer, cervical cancer and other sickness. The birth control pills abortion clinics give out can be linked to conditions like strokes and heart attacks.
The women are seeking love and support for themselves and their precious babies. Women deserve to hear the truth, and abortion providers won’t tell them the truth. Women deserve better… Women need love, not abortion…

Planned Parenthood, Stop Lying about My Uncle, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.!

Tuesday, January 19th, 2010

Please visit and view the Martin Luther King, Jr. PDF about Planned Parenthood. My uncle didn’t even attend their awards ceremony. He didn’t write the speech. Could a man who warned against the evils of infantacide in his Letter From A Birmingham Jail; who said “the Negro cannot win if he is willing to sacrifice the future of his children for immediate personal comfort and safety,” whose father was staunchly prolife; who said “injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere support abortion and killer chemicals called “safe” birth control? Dr. King did support natural family planning. He did teach youth to live purposeful lives. He did not and would not support abortion and sterilization! Planned Parenthood tricked me into having secret abortions which hurt me and killed my babies. The lied to my uncle, Dr. King. How can the dream survive if we murder our children?
Read on to view more of their trickery in their media release!
January 18, 2010

Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) is proud to commemorate the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service on this January 18, 2010. Dr. King dedicated his life to fighting for a more just society, one in which no one is at a disadvantage because of race, religion or economic standing. In addition to racial justice, Dr. King fought for fair wages for workers and quality health care for all.

Speaking before the Second National Convention of the Medical Committee for Human Rights in Chicago, Illinois, on March 25, 1966, Dr. King said, “Of all the forms of inequality, injustice in health care is the most shocking and inhumane.” Not long after that speech, on May 5, 1966, Planned Parenthood presented Dr. King with the PPFA Margaret Sanger Award. The organization’s highest honor, the PPFA Margaret Sanger Award is given annually in recognition of individuals’ excellence and leadership in furthering reproductive health and rights.

In the tradition of Dr. King’s call for equity in health care, Planned Parenthood works to erase the disparities that blight our health care system and that disproportionately affect people of color. More than 7 million African Americans and nearly 15 million Latinos were without health insurance in 2008, which prevented many of them from accessing preventive care or getting treatment for chronic conditions. As a result, many African Americans and Latinos who lack insurance are forced to delay care, diagnosed late for serious health problems, and experience preventable death more than others.

That’s why Planned Parenthood affiliates work to design health care programs that meet the needs of the communities they serve. More than 90 percent of the health care provided at Planned Parenthood health centers is preventive in nature, including breast exams, Pap tests and contraception at an affordable cost. That’s also why Planned Parenthood fights for health care reform that will make quality, affordable health care available to everybody and won’t leave Americans worse off than they are today.

As Dr. King wrote in accepting the Sanger Award, “We had confidence that when we awakened the nation to the immorality and evil of inequality, there would be an upsurge of conscience followed by remedial action.”

Planned Parenthood Federation of America is the nation’s leading sexual and reproductive health care advocate and provider. We believe that everyone has the right to choose when or whether to have a child, and that every child should be wanted and loved. Planned Parenthood affiliates operate 850 health centers nationwide, providing medical services and sexuality education for millions of women, men, and teenagers each year. We also work with allies worldwide to ensure that all women and men have the right and the means to meet their sexual and reproductive health care needs.

Dr. Alveda King on King Day: The Dream Includes Us All, Born and Unborn

Monday, January 18th, 2010

Dr. Alveda King, Pastoral Associate of Priests for Life and niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., released the following comments today on the celebration of her Uncle’s life.

“Martin Luther King, Jr. spoke of a Beloved Community where all are treated with respect and dignity,” said Dr. King. “He fought against society’s exclusion of people who were treated as less than human because of their appearance. Today, we are compelled to continue Uncle Martin’s fight by standing up for those who are treated as less than human because of their helplessness and inconvenience.

“The unborn are as much a part of the Beloved Community as are newborns, infants, teenagers, adults, and the elderly. Too many of us speak of tolerance and inclusion, yet refuse to tolerate or include the weakest and most innocent among us in the human family. As we celebrate the life of Uncle Martin, let us renew our hearts and commit our lives to treating each other, whatever our race, status, or stage of life, as we would want to be treated. Let us let each other live.”

Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, will join Alveda and her family as a program participant in the Martin Luther King Jr. Annual Commemorative Service at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said: “Truth crushed to earth will rise again.”

Friday, January 15th, 2010

Please remember that a lie’s greatest defense is to tell the lie and hope that no one will counter it with the truth. For instance, the abortion industry says that there is no link between breast cancer and abortion. Of course, there is, but as long as that truth is not revealed, people will believe the lie.

National Cancer Institute Researcher Admits Abortion-Breast Cancer Link True

by Steven Ertelt Editor
January 6, 2010

Washington, DC ( — The National Cancer Institute gained a reputation for putting politics over science when it did everything possible to deny dissenting opinion during a meeting to establish whether or not a link exists between abortion and breast cancer.

Now, the main NCI acivist who got the agency to deny the abortion-breast cancer link has co-authored a study admitting the abortion-breast cancer link is true, calling it a “known risk factor.”

Scientists and educators about the abortion-breast cancer link point to a new study that shows a top NCI official may be re-thinking the refusal to acknowledge the link.

The study, conducted by Jessica Dolle, appears in the April, 2009 issue of the prestigious cancer epidemiology journal Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers and Prevention.

The Dolle study, conducted with the prestigious Janet Daling group of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle — one of the first to receive recognition for highlighting the abortion-breast cancer link — concerns the link between oral contraceptives and breast cancer.

The study examined women for triple-negative breast cancer, a subset of breast cancer cases with a particularly aggressive and treatment-resistant cancer type.

The data yielded a strong association between TNBC and oral contraceptives and found a 320% risk increase for breast cancer over those who never used contraception.

When it comes to the abortion link, the study did not produce any new results but it cited the Daling studies from 1994 and 1996 that showed between a 20 and 50 percent increased breast cancer risk for women having abortions compare to those who carried their pregnancies to term.

As Dr. Joel Brind, a prominent breast cancer researcher, says, “what was striking was the way in which the finding of a significant ABC link was characterized.”

“Specifically, abortion appears in the data table which lists the associations found for ‘known and suspected risk factors,'” he explains. “In the text, the effect of the significant risk factors, including induced abortion, were described as ‘consistent with the effects observed in previous studies on younger women.'”

“Hence, this paper provides clear support for the existence of the abortion-breast cancer link,” Brind said.

Brind says the kicker is that one of the coauthors of this new study is Louise A. Brinton of the NCI.

While the NCI maintains no abortion-breast cancer link exists, Brinton is the co-author of a study that is cited in this new research.

“Importantly, Brinton was the chief organizer for the 2003 NCI (U.S. National Cancer Institute) ‘workshop’ on ‘early reproductive events and breast cancer,’ a panel which reported that the lack of an ABC link had been ‘established,'” Brind says.

“In other words, since 2003, the NCI has firmly maintained the position that there is no ABC link; that the studies which had reported such a link were deemed unreliable. However, two of these prior studies were the very studies by the Daling group (of which one Brinton also was a co-author),” he continues.

“Now, in 2009, Brinton is on record reiterating findings of the ABC link and reporting them as ‘consistent’ with earlier studies that found induced abortion to be a risk factor,” Brind says. “Can it not therefore be argued that the NCI is backing off its denial of the ABC link? This is big news, to be sure, but no one has challenged the NCI with it, yet.”

Karen Malec, president of the Coalition on Abortion/Breast Cancer, a women’s group that educates about the abortion link, calls the admission a scandal.

“Less than two months since the U.S. Preventative Services Task Force issued new guidelines recommending against routine mammograms for women in their forties, a second breast cancer scandal involving a U.S. government panel of experts has come to light which has implications for healthcare reform,” she told

“Although the study was published nine months ago, the NCI, the American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen for the Cure and other cancer fundraising businesses have made no efforts to reduce breast cancer rates by issuing nationwide warnings to women,” she added.

She says Dolle’s team reported in Table 1 a statistically significant 40% risk increase for women who have had abortions and listed it among “known and suspected risk factors.”

“Obviously, more women will die of breast cancer if the NCI fails in its duty to warn about the risks of OCs and abortion and if government funds are used to pay for both as a part of any healthcare bill,” Malec said.

Last year, studies from Turkey and China also reported statistically significant risk increases for women who had abortions.

January 15, Happy Birthday Dr. King

Friday, January 15th, 2010

Happy Birthday, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Life in the “Beloved Community” of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Beloved, let us love one another!

1 John: 7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loves (Agape) is born of God, and knows God. 8 He that loves not knows not God; for God is love. 9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. 12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwells in us, and his love is perfected in us.

In remembering My uncle, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on his birthday, I remember that he spoke of a Beloved Community where all are treated with respect and dignity. He fought against society’s exclusion of people who were treated as less than human because of their appearance. Today, we are compelled to continue Uncle Martin’s fight by standing up for those who are treated as less than human because of their helplessness and inconvenience.

I marched with Dr. King and my father, his brother, Rev. A. D. King in those days. We were fighting for those who could not fight for themselves. The fight was based on skin color. The battle still rages today, and has expanded…

The unborn are as much a part of the Beloved Community as are newborns, infants, teenagers, adults, and the elderly. So, let us Agape (love) each other and let each other live.

Alveda on Fox and Friends today
January 13th, 2010

Question: “What is agape love?”

Answer: The Greek word agape is often translated “love” in the New Testament. How is “agape love” different from other types of love? The essence of agape love is self-sacrifice. Unlike our English word “love,” agape is not used in the Bible to refer to romantic or sexual love. Nor does it refer to close friendship or brotherly love, for which the Greek word philia is used. Nor does agape mean charity, a term which the King James translators carried over from the Latin. Agape love is unique and is distinguished by its nature and character.

Agape is love which is of and from God, whose very nature is love itself. The Apostle John affirms this in 1 John 4:8: “God is love.” God does not merely love; He is love itself. Everything God does flows from His love. But it is important to remember that God’s love is not a sappy, sentimental love such as we often hear portrayed. God loves because that is His nature and the expression of His being. He loves the unlovable and the unlovely (us!), not because we deserve to be loved, but because it is His nature to do so, and He must be true to His nature and character. God’s love is displayed most clearly at the Cross, where Christ died for the unworthy creatures who were “dead in trespasses and sins” (Ephesians 2:1), not because we did anything to deserve it, “but God commends His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). The object of agape love never does anything to merit His love. We are the undeserving recipients upon whom He lavishes that love. His love was demonstrated when He sent His Son into the world to “seek and save that which was lost” (Luke 19:10), and to provide eternal life to those He sought and saved. He paid the ultimate sacrifice for those He loves.

In the same way, we are to love others sacrificially. Jesus gave the parable of the Good Samaritan as an example of sacrifice for the sake of others, even for those who may care nothing at all for us, or even hate us, as the Jews did the Samaritans. Sacrificial love is not based on a feeling, but a determined act of the will, a joyful resolve to put the welfare of others above our own. But this type of love does not come naturally to humans. Because of our fallen nature, we are incapable of producing such a love. If we are to love as God loves, that love—that agape—can only come from its true Source. This is the love which “has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit given to us” when we became His children (Romans 5:5). Because that love is now in our hearts, we can obey Jesus who said, “I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. As I have loved you, you should also love one another” (John 13:34). This new commandment involves loving one another as He loved us sacrificially, even to the point of death. But again, it is clear that only God can generate within us the kind of self-sacrificing love which is the proof that we are His children. “By this we have known the love of God, because He laid down His life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers” (1 John 3:16). Because of God’s love toward us, we are now able to love one another.
